Blog 4 - A photograph

I took this picture on December 20th, 2019 at the “Festival of Chinese Lights”. This festival was in “Parque de la Familia”, in Santiago. In the picture appears one of the lights that the festival had. I like this picture because it make me remerber the great experience that my boyfriend and I had at the festival, with all the lights and the pictures we took, and the food that we bought in there. Other reason that I like this picture is because see very cool, with the water under the light at night, I just love it 😍.

Also, in the festival there were people on stage doing tradicional Chinese dances, it was beautifil. If in the future this festival return to Santiago, I would like to go again, because is a nice, beautufil and amazing experience. I recommended.  

Blog 3 - My favorite piece of tecnology.

My favorite piece of tecnology is my cellphone 📱. I got my first cellphone when I was 10 or 11 years old, but I didn’t used so often; just for call and play video games in it. My mon gave to me because I had to stay in home alone after class in that time. The cellphone that I have now I bought it, and I like it because I can access to a lot of information and comunicate with my friends or family at the same time. Also, I can watch videos or listen to music. Makes the life a little more easier.

The problem is that I use it so much and I don’t like that. I tried to used less every day, but some times I fail 😔. I don’t know how my life would be without a cellphone, I never think of that.

Blog 2 - Why did I choose this career?

Hi!

When I was a child I wanted to be a forensic anthropologist, because I really liked the main character in a series.

In high school I think in many options. I wanted to be a comercial engineer or a history teacher, but I wasn’t sure. I gratuated from high school and I took a sabbatical year, where I looked other careers. After all, I decided study sociology, because this career has what I wanted in history and it is very interesting how society evolves by multiple factors.

The college experiencie has been stressful, cause is so hard focus in classes and being in front the computer all day. However, I meet some friendly people, and their made this college experience much better.

I would like, in the future, to getting a master's degree or a doctorate associated with history.

Hello, welcome to my blog 😊

I am Carolina Sanguineti Oplustil. I was born on March 2001, and I live in Maipu with my parents. I am an only child, but we have a dog named “Manchas”. Before we had another dog but he passed away a few months ago.

My last name Oplustil is from Czech Republic. My great-grandparents were from that country; they came to Chile for work. And Sanguineti is from Italy, my grandfather was born in that country. Someday I would like to visit those countries and know more about them.   

I studied in “Liceo Bicentenario de niñas de Maipú”. When I finished high school, I took a sabbatical year before entering university because I wasn't sure what to study. Now I on my second year of sociology.  

I like to play The sims 4 or Stardew Valley. I also like to watch series or anime. I painted a little bit at the beginning of cuarentine.
